ARMF editorial contacts
The ARMF editorial contacts are collected on this page: write to us if you found an error in a calculation, a formula does not add up or you need a topic the site does not cover. Reports of errors in numbers are handled first: they are more useful than anything else.
What is worth writing to a forex handbook's editors about
Give the page, the disputed value and your inputs — the calculation is reproduced from them in a minute.
handled firstIf it is unclear from the text where a value came from, that is a defect in the material: the formula needs to be written out.
we fix the textEspecially valuable are questions you looked for an answer to and did not find: they show the holes in the structure of the site.
into the planSuch letters go unanswered: the topic of placements and link exchange is not up for discussion.
not up for discussionHow to describe a problem so that it is handled quickly
Letters about wrong numbers are checked by recalculation, and the speed of the reply depends on whether your result can be reproduced. A useful letter contains four things.
The full address or the title of the article: one figure often repeats across several materials, and the fix has to be made everywhere.
compulsoryHow it is stated on our side and what it should be by your calculation. The wording «everything here is wrong» gives no entry point.
compulsoryThe deposit, the risk percentage, the stop, the pip value — the values you substituted. The calculation is reproduced from them in a minute.
for the calculationsAn instrument specification, a broker document, a textbook. For claims about rules and values it settles the question straight away.
desirableWe work through them on business days, and reports of wrong numbers go out of turn: on a handbook about risk such an error turns into someone else's money rather than a typo in the text.

What we do not take on
Frequently asked questions
Will you review my EUR/USD trade?
No: assessing specific positions is investment advice, which we do not provide. But we will gladly explain the mechanics of any formula on the site — from the pip value to the probability of a losing streak.
Where does what I type into the form go?
The text lives in the browser until you press the button: after that the contents of the fields are put into a letter that your mail client opens. This data never reaches the site's server.
How quickly do you reply?
On business days. Letters about errors in calculations are answered first, the rest as the mail is worked through.
How should a report about an error in a calculator be written?
Six numbers are enough: the deposit, the risk percentage, the stop length, the pip value, the leverage and the result you consider correct. With them the widget is reproduced in a minute and the answer becomes concrete.
Do you answer questions about choosing a broker?
We do not recommend specific companies. But we can explain which specification parameters affect risk and how to compare them between venues.
Do you accept requests for new topics?
Yes. The most valuable letters are about a question you looked for an answer to and did not find: such gaps in the structure of a handbook are visible only from the reader's side.
Do you help review specific trades?
No. Assessing someone else's trades is individual investment advice, and we do not provide it. Questions about the mechanics of a calculation, on the contrary, are welcome.
Where does the data from the feedback form go?
Nowhere: the page assembles a draft and opens it in your mail client. The recipient address is in front of you, and you press send yourself.
Which language can I write in?
Russian or English. The calculation is reproduced from the numbers, so the language of the letter does not affect the speed of the review.
Do you have social media or chats?
At the time of publication, no. The only channel is the editorial email and the form on this page.
